Kibworth, Leicestershire by John Kenney
John Theodore Eardley Kenney was a 20th Century English sporting artist and illustrator who worked on a number of Reverend Wilbert Awdry's The Railway Series, Thomas the Tank Engine books from 1957 to 1962. The War interrupted John's career as a commercial artist, he did however make a number of drawings of the war and these are now housed in the British Royal Army Museum. John was also the teacher and mentor of the equestrian artist Neil Cawthorne.
