Robert Graham Dryden Alexander

British (1875 - 1945 )

Robert Graham Dryden Alexander was born in London on 5th February 1875. He studied art at The Slade School of Fine Art in London and at the age of 21 had his first exhibition of pictures at The Royal Academy. Robert Graham Dryden Alexander's Landscapes and Etchings were inspired by both Turner and Constable, and were often of the East Anglian coast of England. His work can be seen in the British Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
